Cumbria runs a seniors county team in the Northern Counties golf league. This is for players over 55 years and a member of a Cumbria County affiliated club.

The team of 12 play in the league against Yorkshire,Lancashire,Cheshire, Northumberland and Durham. There is also a qualifying competition to represent the Nothern Counties Golf in a national uk final. The County also runs a seniors County championship.

There are also friendly matches and coaching sessions for the squad. Should any player be interested with a handicap less that 5 , they can contact the Secretary at cugesensec@outlook.com
